Antiquarian Book Fair
Author David Malouf will open the 2009 Antiquarian Book Fair in our Galleries on Thursday 12 November at 6pm.
Open to the public from 12 to 14 November, the fair brings together 10,000 rare and valuable books, maps, manuscripts, pictures and ephemera to the collective value of $10 million. Highlights include the first children’s book devoted to Australia, rare cricket photographs, first editions by Dickens, Trollope and George Eliot, and watercolours by Brett Whiteley.
